Hush now, said the man in the moon.

Your pain is the breaking of the shell
that encloses your understanding.

Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its
heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain.

– Kahlil Gibran

  1. Woah! The process of learning and understanding comes when one breaks and hurts. Its rather funny that for some people when they hurt, it leads to the road of self-discovery. I know a friend who started painting after she broke up with her husband. And she now receives hefty bids for her paintings. Nice one!

    1. Really? That is so amazing. Send my warmest regards to your friend. I’d love to see her work. And thank you so very much for the kind comments, Tabz. :)

  2. ‘And is not the lute that soothes your spirit the very wood that was hollowed with knives?
When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy’

..If i’m not being mistaken, these lines are from ‘The Prophet’.. You have a nice blog, btw :)
